Murg on Lake Walen
Murg is a vacation and residential resort on a peninsula in the middle of Lake Walen on the route between Zurich and Chur. The village has its own highway access and railroad station as well as two boat stations (Murg Ost and Murg West). The year-round destination is ideal for water sports and swimming vacations in summer and for snow sports in winter (Flumserberg, Kerenzerberg). In spring and fall, the spectacular nature offers wonderful hiking opportunities.
